“Tainan Lòng Story” is an architectural artwork that converted from an old house.
The History before“Tainan Lòng Story”
In 1969, the “Cathay Hotel” was grandly opened. Not only the mayor, government officials, but also the commander-in-chief of the U.S. Air Force cut the ribbon together. It was also the most representative and highest landmark on Zhongyi Road. During the period of U.S. military assistance, it was a major event in the local area. There were frequent visits of foreign businessmen and celebrities, and there were constant banquets and performances.
The decoration reflects the most fashionable style at that time. For example, the green serpentine floor of the current station was mined in Hualien and then manually cut and assembled. The hand-polished cobblestone floor in the basement is hard to see now.
September 9, 2022 Opening of “Tainan Lòng Story”
The Cathay Hotel was closed for a long time. The current team took over and rebuilt it, and made a crazy decision – to open an 8-story ice cream shop! Invite Japanese international architect Sou Fujimoto (Fujimoto Sou) to design the exterior, and build together with Taiwan’s outstanding architectural team, with Tainan alleys as the backbone, urban context as flesh and blood, and kind dialogue as the spiritual core, creating a story building in Tainan.

Invite the sound artist JB to create the exclusive alley melody of “Tainan Lòng Story”, written with his feelings of roaming in Tainan for a day. The Sound Art Includes atmosphere, mood, rhythm and ambient radio; what’s more. radio stories at noon, evening and night, so you can feel the flow of time here and travel with the sound.

南埕衖事は、古い家をリノベーションして再生させた作品です。
「南埕衖事 Tainan Lòng Story」の前身
1969年、「国泰ホテル」が盛大にオープンしました。市長、政府高官だけでなく、当時のアメリカ空軍総司令官もテープカットを行い、アメリカ軍援助期の台湾では地元で大騒ぎとなりました。海外からの名士が出入りし、宴会や公演が絶えず行われ、当時の忠義街で最も代表的で最も高いランドマークでした。
装飾は当時最も流行していたスタイルを反映しており、例えば現在立っている緑色の蛇紋石の床は、花蓮で採掘された後に人工的に切断されて組み合わされたものです。地下室には手作業で磨かれた丸石の床があります。今ではこのような装飾はほとんど見られなくなりました。
2022年9月9日、「南埕衖事」がグランドオープン
国泰ホテルはしばらく閉鎖されていましたが、現在のチームが引き継いで再構築し、8階建てのアイスクリーム屋を開くという大胆的な決定を下しました！日本人建築家の藤本壮介氏(Sou Fujimoto)を招き、台湾の優れた建築チームと共に、台南の小路を骨格とし、街の脈絡を肉体とし、善良に対話することを精神的な核心として、台南の物語のある建築物を創造しました。

サウンドアーティストのJB氏に招き、「南埕衖事」専用の小路のメロディーを作成するよう依頼しました。彼が台南を一日中漫歩した気持ちを込めて編集します。雰囲気、感情、リズム及び環境音を含め、昼、夕方、夜のラジオストーリーに加えました。ここで時間の流れを感じることができます。音に従って旅行してください。

1969年「國泰大飯店」盛大開幕，不只市長、政府官員，還有當時美軍的空軍總司令一同剪綵，在美軍援助時期的台灣，是轟動地方的大事，外商名流往來頻繁，宴席、表演活動不斷，也是當年忠義路最具代表、最高的地標
裝潢反映當時最時髦的風格，例如現在站的綠色蛇紋石地板，是花蓮開採再人工切割拼組而成，地下室手工打磨鵝卵石地板，現在都很難看到了
2022年9月9日 「南埕衖事」開幕
國泰大飯店歇業沉寂好一段時間，由現在的團隊接手重新打造，做了一個瘋狂的決定 —— 開一間8層樓的冰淇淋店！邀請日本國際建築大師Sou Fujimoto(藤本壯介)設計外觀，與台灣優秀建築團隊一同打造，以台南巷弄為骨幹，城市脈絡為血肉，善良對話為精神核心，創造台南的故事建築
